North East Wales Dance (NEW Dance) is a dance development organisation for Denbighshire, Wrexham and Flintshire. New Dance nurtures, the individual, cultural and well-being of communities in North East Wales through dance, promoting excellence and innovation in its work in community, educational and professional setting.

Hanna is a member of NEWDance Youth Company, she joined in January 2014 and will be finishing July 2015 with the youth company. Hanna attends the company class every Monday evening where she receives excellent technique and dance skills that has lead her and the company to perform at the Youth Dance England UDance Plaform in 'Y Galeri' Caernarfon 2014 and at 'The Lowry Centre, Salford' in 2015.

NEW Dance has also given Hanna the opportunity to work on community art events every year in Ruthin Craft Centre where Hanna collaborated with poets, painters, artists, musicians, sculptures, jewellery makers to create a piece to bring the community together for an evening sharing. Encompass Collective was formed in 2013 between third year Dance & Theatre Studies Students at the University of Chester. Hanna was selected from an audition process to join the company in their piece 'and I'm talking to you' which for Hanna was a new discovery of using voice within a dance piece. Hanna re-joined the company in October 2014 to create a programme for their tour, they presented a 'work in progress' of one of the pieces 'Circumstances brought me here' by choreographer Lauren Tucker in Milton Keynes February 2015. see gallery.

Hanna joined the NYDW Step up programme for the year 2014-2015 after previously auditioning with Odette Hughes (Artist Director of Random Dance) and invited to attend 3 weekend intensives throughout the year and gain the opportunity to work with well- known dance artists. The artistic director this year was Kerry Nicholls. Hanna is privileged to have had the opportunity of working with a worldwide choreographers like Kerry and Odette, having a taste of professional life as a contemporary dancer.
